Our Team

Scott Thomas, President

Scott has been in the Paul Davis Restoration organization since 1997 and has over 20 years of construction experience.  He has also worked at most levels of the restoration business.  Scott has a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Supervision and Management from Central Michigan University.  He is also a Licensed Builder in the State of Michigan and also holds numerous certifications from the IICRC, the restoration industries governing body.

Jason Arsenault, Vice President

Jason has held this position since 2007.  He is a graduate of Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science degree as well as a graduate of Saginaw Valley State University with a Master of Arts degree.  Jason is also a Licensed Builder in the State of Michigan and a Certified Lead Renovator with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).  He also holds several certifications with the IICRC.  Jason has also served as an adjunct instructor while having years of business experience in the government and private sectors.  He resided in Los Angeles, CA and Phoenix, AZ for over ten years prior to relocating to his home state of Michigan.

Ron Barres, General Manager

Ron is the General Manager and has been with Paul Davis Restoration for over 18 years.  He has IICRC certifications for Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration,  Water Damage Restoration and Applied Microbial Remediation.  Ron is also NAHB Aging in Place Certified and a BS degree in Business Administration.  Ron is married with three children.

Wendy Starr, Office Manager

Wendy has worked as an office specialist for over 16 years and has specifically worked in the construction and restoration industry for over ten years.  She was originally hired at Paul Davis as a Job Cost Accountant in 2012 before taking over as Office Manager in 2014.  Wendy handles major administrative functions and provides outstanding support while managing the office.  She is vital to the daily operations of our company.

Frank St. John, Emergency Services Division Supervisor

Frank has worked in the property restoration industry for ten years.  He is generally the first one to respond to a property damage disaster as he specializes in the emergency services of restoration for our company.  Frank manages the emergency aspects of property damage related to water, fire, mold and storms at a high level.  He is very knowledgeable in mitigating property damage to both residential and commercial properties so that lives can get back to normal, and restoration can begin.  Frank is certified by the IICRC.

Adam Stoddard, Lead Emergency Services Technician

Adam is well trained in Applied Structural Drying, Mold Remediation and Fire & Smoke Damage Restoration. He has several years of experience in the industry including both residential and commercial work. Adam is IICRC certified.

Sean Davis, Reconstruction Project Manager

Sean is well versed in project management and business management. Sean has a rich history of superior customer service training through managing several Enterprise Car Rental offices. Project management is all about keeping all pieces of a job moving forward with timeliness and efficiency. With over 18 years of management experience, Sean has well developed skills in this area. Sean has a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from Northwood University.

Michelle Beiser, Project Coordinator

Michelle is new to the restoration industry but has many years of experience in business and business processes. Her background suits her well for the position of project coordinator. This position is in charge of all aspects of compliance management for insurance claim repair contracts.

Laurie Shooltz, Marketing Manager

Laurie has been involved in the property restoration industry for several years.  She also has a background in teaching, event coordination and graphic design.  Laurie serves as our company representative to the communities we service and the insurance industry we work with.  Laurie also teaches continuing education classes to insurance professionals and gives presentations to various organizations and groups within or related to the restoration industry.  She is very knowledgeable with regard to the processes and capabilities of our full-service restoration firm.  Laurie is a graduate of Central Michigan University with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Arts.
